How do I install WP Maintenance Mode?
If you are still building your WordPress site, it's nice to have a landing page for your visitors. For example, your visitors have something to look at and you can provide them with more information about your future website.
Steps
Step 1. Log in to WordPress.
Step 2. In the left menu, click Plugins and then New plugin at the top of the page.
Step 3. In the upper right corner of the search bar, enter WP Maintenance Mode and press enter.
Step 4. Under WP Maintenance Mode, click Install Now. After the installation is completed, click Activate.
Step 5. Hold your mouse over the menu item Settings and click on WP Maintenance Mode.
Step 6. Under Status, select Activated. Under Backend Role and Frontend Role, specify which roles have access to the administration panel and website.
Step 7. In the Design and Modules tabs, you indicate how your visitors see the landing page. Click Save Settings when you're done.
