How do I change my cPanel password?

You may want to change your password for cPanel. You can do that easily via your customer account or via cPanel. Both methods will be explained in this article.

For resellers the WHM login is the same as the main accounts cPanel login, so resetting the cPanel account will work for WHM too.

Change password through your Neostrada customer panel

In case you're not able to log in to the cPanel and want to change your password, follow the next steps.

Step 1. Go to your customer panel on neostrada.com/login.html

Step 2. Login with your login credentials, this is the account you used to order your hosting plan.

Step 3. Go to Services and locate your hosting plan in the Webhosting section.

Step 4. Click on the options menu, the small cog, to the right of the package and click on Reset password.

Step 5. You will now receive an email with the new login details which you can use to login into cPanel.

 

Change password though cPanel dashboard

Step 1. Log in to cPanel.

Step 2. In the bar at the top of the page, click on your username and then click Password & Security.

Step 3. Enter the old password and password you want. Then click Change your password now. The password has now been changed.

Tip: Use the password generator to generate a strong and secure password. These are often difficult to remember passwords, so keep them in a safe place to not forget them.
