Emails about expiration date of domain names
Many extensions are managed by ICANN, including the .com extension. ICANN considers it important to keep domain name holders informed of the expiry date of domain names. Therefore, you will receive an (English) email mentioning the expiration date of your domain names.
The expiration date is different from the date in 'My Account', is that correct?
The expiry date as known to ICANN may differ from the expiration date as it is known to us.
Do I have to take action myself to maintain my domain name?
Domain names are always automatically renewed by us. So you do not have to worry if the date in the email differs from the date in 'My Account'.
